Kochi is known for its charming art cafes, and this one is a great choice for art enthusiasts. Located on Jewish Street, I enjoyed a shake and sandwich while admiring the beautiful artwork inside. The sandwich was tasty and well-grilled, but the shake was a bit too sweet for my liking. The total cost for both items was approximately 300 rupees. What smc0111 doesn't like about Classic Art Cafe:
We were 4 of us. We ordered 4 things. A burger, pasta, club sandwich and tuna sandwich. Each came with a gap of 15 minutes. So by the time the second persons food came, the first was done with lunch. The fourth persons food came more than 1 hr after we ordered. When we told the people, that this is not the way to serve, they just started arguing. Illogically. Maybe I wud give it a better rating if the service was bet... View all feedback.
Today, my colleagues and I visited Jew Town and dined at Classic Art Cafe. It is a fantastic place filled with art and artifacts, as well as delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our burgers, sandwiches, and cold coffee. It was definitely worth every penny spent.
Hidden in Jew town, this cozy cafe doubles as a gallery and coffee shop. The unique artifacts lend to its atmosphere and decor, making it a truly interesting experience.

The worst sandwiches I have had in India so fare. “Egg and Avocado “ had perhaps 2 tablespoons of mustard and same amount of mayonnaise in it. and a lot of tomatoes non of this was printed on the menus. The omlet with tomatoes had about 10 tablespoons of mayonnaise inside we did not eat it. The orange juice was clearly watered down witch they denied but since the has also included delicious oranges on the plate there really was no doubt. We did not try to make them change it, and did not try to not pay, but they asked why we did not drink it. I guess there is a reason this place was empty besides us. The price was expensive for India, especially when looking at the quality. If they had just given ma a plain toast with egg and avocado and a orange juice as on menu it would have been 4 stars because the place was beautiful!
An amazing place to have a great cup of coffee while appreciating art or reading a book. This cafe is situated at the jew town road very close to the Matancherry palace and is beautiful. Every corner has art on display and you'll be mesmerized by the varied art forms. There's wall graffiti, paintings, installations, handicrafts and much more. There's even a traditional sewing machine on display!!! The food is delicious and the staff is super courteous too.
