So the lady at Snorkel Bob's recommended we have breakfast here after catching the sunrise on the volcano. We really didn't plan to take her recommendation, but after finding the lavender farm didn't open until 9 on Sundays we really needed somewhere to kill a little time. What Sina Staudacher doesn't like about Grandma’s Coffee House:
We were informed that the banana bread is baked fresh in the morning. However, after trying it post-purchase, it seemed to be a few days old, with an unpleasant taste and smell. Both the cappuccino and latte tasted like nothing more than hot milk. View all feedback.
Always good!. Always friendly, always good! Real Hawaii that is sometimes hard to find on Maui. Homemade food and baked goods are ono. Good sized portions and fair prices. Don't miss this place and there coffee is worth sending home!!

Grandmas was an excellent choice. The food was not you ordinary menu and it definitely wasn't Burger King (you get the item as presented on the menu not your way). Everything was a bit eclectic and there really isn't enough seating (there is seating outside, but after freezing your off watching the sunrise over a volcano you really want to sit inside). The baked goods were amazing as was our breakfast. It's an out of the way gem and well worth a visit for breakfast.
Yumm!!! We stopped here after watching the sunrise at Haleakala. It was recommended by the park ranger. We ordered lattes, and the egg combo with roasted turky and potatoes. The potatoes that had the most amazing spices on them. Nothing fancy from what I'm used to on the mainland but everything was delicious and it was a memorable stop. I bought a bag of their Hawaiian Coconut coffee beans and apparently their family has been growing coffee for over 50 years. I am looking forward to trying it at home.
Sunday Brunch at Grandma's, my favorite breakfast on Maui. I absolutely love having Sunday brunch at Grandma's Coffee House in Keokeo. Their Eggs Benedict are, hands down, the very best I have ever had, eggs cooked perfectly to my tastes every time, laid down upon crispy and sweet corn meal waffles and baked sugary ham with a slightly acidic and fresh tasting Hollandaise, dusted with red paprika and befriended by small-cut and generously seasoned home fries... all the way I like it. There is live music on the lanai of an island-style genre and the neighborhood ohana chit chat over ceramic mugs of Grandmas coffee while the bikers pedal in and out like the fresh Kula wind. If only there was a convenient bathroom to wash up in, I would be as happy as a horse on the banks of Thompson Road.
Wow!! A great aroma as soon as you pull in. The pineapple banana dream cake is to die for. Great little hole in the wall shop.
