Du Lac - Kuessnacht (SZ)

The garden has a great view of the lake. Their salads were massive, a great choice on a summer day. The staff were very busy but responsive.

The hotel thrives solely on its location on the lake. It should be mentioned that there is a church right next to the hotel whose bell rings loudly all night long. The price performance ratio is not right here: no minibar/fridge, no air conditioning, heat builds up in the room, poor insulation (no sound, noise inside and outside), church bells all night long. Beds are ok. A fan was provided but not enough in midsummer. We wouldn't book the hotel again, especially because of the noise at night.

Ein Glück hat Kilian Henseler das schöne Haus an exzellenter Stelle gekauft und nun restauriert zu einem Bijou ! Schöne Außenansicht und geschmackvolles Interieur (ausser der nicht gerade einladenden Raucherlounge oder Bar). Die Küche hat noch Verbesserungspotential.
