We hired our car in the garage and just got rid of it. Not really with destination, but somehow we landed in the boat harbour of Kühlungsborn. The cold wind, cut into the face and although we pulled our scarves higher, the desire for warmth came up. Spotlights that radiate their warmth a day, straw parasols that invite to stay, including tables and bar stools, and also the view of the port and the port of Taverne. We're not supposed to be out there, but we're going to the pirates, go to the restaurant. It is warm and cozy as soon as the door is behind us. We were looking for a place in the window and getting the map. Frozen we were and decided to warm a little coffee, each 3,50 euros. We were kindly offered to choose from the map later. I like a nice service. After reading through the map we decided to go with fresh mushrooms, salad dress and fries for 14.50 euros. It took about 20 minutes until the food was really friendly for us. Appetite dressed and absolutely delicious, we were thrilled and although it doesn't look like we were fed, the part was really sufficient. We weren't just excited, we were excited. The carving was fresh meat and no chipped finished or shaped carving, as often offered. It had a big panade and was boiled to the point. Not dry or stubborn. The pommes tasted and neither burned nor bitter. While we enjoyed our food, some people stood outside the heating and tried to warm up. Some people came in and ordered to eat after the first warm-up drink. Interesting, apparently found not only us, the interior painting and the maritime equipment of the tavern. She's really great. Worth seeing everywhere whether there are fish nets or other maritime things. After using the well-maintained and clean guest toilet, I took the Baltic Sea newspaper, which was there among other things for the guests to read. The service was always friendly and very attentive. I like the Nordic charm that is not over-friendly and intrusive. We were here almost an hour, enjoyed the view of the marina and the pleasant ambience of the port of Taverne. The price-performance ratio is definitely here. Should we be here again, the port of Taverne belongs to the restaurants we visit again. Also in summer and then outside with a long drink under the straw parasol. There's definitely nothing wrong here. Our visit, which according to Kassenbon cost 36 euros, was rewarded with a generous tip. Friendly and carefree service in a very pleasant and exceptional ambience, are always rewarded and recommended by us.
