Finally a place where you can experience true cretan tastes and products in a modern way. Fantastic, simply creative and tasty food with fabulous decoration. Having spent a few days in Elounda I reckon this as in the very few “not for tourists only” and authentic restaurants in the area. Also appreciated the wine list where you can try local wineries with exceptional wines. Definitely recommended! View all feedback.
What Ste f doesn't like about Magali Cretan Cooking:
We had only some tzatziki, bread and salads. The salads are outstandingly good tasting, the bread is baked and very oily. For the high price and the fact, that this is the only restaurant on Crete in which neither a “welcome” dish and nor a free desert/fruit was served I subtract two stars. View all feedback.

Really nice interior, great cocktails. Starters were alright, all 3 mains were inedible (small portions, lamb super bland, beef way too salty with 3 small pieces of potato as a side, moussaka not comparable to a traditional tasting moussaka). So I can only recommend this place for drinks.
Friendly staff, good service, excellent food honestly priced. I would say, based on our experience, ignore the poor reviews and give this place a go if its in budget. I think the idea here is contemporary Greek cuisine, which sets itself aside from all the other eaterys on offer. It was quiet inside which I was dubious about but everything on the menu sounded super tasty so we had to give it a go. We were quickly seated for a table of 2 by our gracious host who was very friendly and polite … – show
Not the usual Greek restaurant, they successfully tried to decompose and recompose the Greek cuisine. Friendly staff, and not expensive.
Exceptionally good food with a beautiful view directly onto the sea. The service is courteous, not at all intrusive and very friendly. There is a finely selected number of dishes, which are fantastically prepared and served. The desserts round off the whole thing perfectly and leave nothing to be desired
