visit them most tired, should they visit the baroque castle and be there, it is just a few m to il borgo. for lunchtime they get really good Italian meal before only €, including starter, main course, a soft drink or a small. glass wine, and an espresso very good for the money. in the evening you have to reserve a table, it is always fully booked. After I have lived some months in the best, I visited some Italian restaurants. most of them are decent, some were really good. il borgo is something special. it is cozy, rather small and somewhat charming. I have eaten more than once with friends and family, and no one has ever been dissatisfied with eating. it is not an ideal place for vegetarians, as it serves traditional Italian food (both exquisite dings such as rabbits, lamb and wild boar as well as standards). in contrast to others we were always satisfied with the personal. you should also consider how big the place is and how often it is full in the evening. the tiramisu is stunning, an absolute must. Do not forget to book unless they are only two people arriving at 7 o'clock when they open. otherwise much fun!
If you are most tired to visit, you should visit the baroque castle... and if you are there, it is only about 800 m to the il borgo. At midday you get a really good Italian food for only 10.50 €, including appetizer, main dish, soft drink or a glass of wine and an espresso - very good PRIS BENEFIT CONDITION. In the evening you have to reserve a table, it is always booked.
Eating is fantastic, friendly staff, so don't worry. we had brush, pasta with seawolf and salat. tiramisu is homemade and also very good! cook and his wife? run the place and it is a bit chaotic when busy! no care if they have. a lot of time when we visit, but could be considered unprofessional. it is also good to bring them more, because now the wait was a bit overshadowed the amazing food. so if they want good real Italian cuisine, they take their time, be patient and visit definitatiw il borgio! you will not regret it.
I've been here a few times and I always liked it. there are not that many tables, can be and as this is a popular place, they need to make a reservation or come there early. the restaurant interieur is somewhat dark...(all wood), but it is atmospheric and with a few candles here and it comes as cozy. there is a big menu to choose from, and the five or six dishes we had so far were all really good. the waiters are sometimes somewhat stretchable, but the service is fast and the prices are completely reasonable. no separate parking, so best reached to foot or bike.
