Visited this place with friends and had a good time having the food here. The place was crowded when we Visited as i guess it might be the season for vacation there. Got the table after half an hour. The weather here is awesome which is a plus point. Not many popular food joints around here though so you'll have to Visit this place at least once. The food taste was good and i would say a good experience overall. You'... View all feedback.
What Navneet M doesn't like about Altaf's Cafe:
A bit overrated and small restaurant/dhaba. Middle eastern platter was good, but other things can be avoided. Fried rice had to be ordered again because despite instructing not to make it spicy, they put chillies. There is no parking. You may have to park 1 km away in a narrow 2 way street turned one way due to road side parked vehicles View all feedback.
A must to visit cafe if you are planning to go to Vattakanal. You can easily find this place on the way to the Dolphin's nose. They have wide range of options available like Italian, Middle Eastern, Chinese, etc. They serve both veg and non-veg. You can also try selection of few hot beverages. Their hot chocolate is to die for. Place is family friendly so you are not allowed to smoke inside the cafe. Also they don't offer alcoholic beverages. There are few dessert options as well. Ambience is great. Staff is polite, helpful nd quick on their feet. Highly recommended place with great view nd cool ambience, a must to visit if you are going to Kodaikanal.
This is what a cafe should look, feel, and function as. Had a quick Ginger Lemon Tea before heading down to Dolphins Nose and then came back to help myself to a falafel pocket which was quite filling and tasty. Hope to visit again.
Are you looking for Israeli, Italian cuisine in Kodaikanal? Then this is the place to be. Located in Dolphin nose road, the cafe offers you a great sitting in the nature's bed. The food was awesome. Tea-Lovers try out from the wide range of tea available.
A hidden gem. It's a cute place nestled among the mountains. It's right at the start of Dolphins nose treck. The place looks over the picturesque valley. It's Mediterranean food is very authentic. Their hummus, falafel are mind-blowing. The place is served by a very dedicated staff. Their manager made sure our lunch was memorable. We sat at the small slightly elevated sitting arrangement. Tasty food with awesome view makes it mesmerizing experience. Must visit for anyone visiting dolphins nose.
Amazing place with breathtaking views. Must visit at least once. Less than ₹300 per person for a sumptuous meal with a beverage. Mr. Diwan the manager is a very lively and joyful person. This place has positive vibes. Would highly recommend the Ginger lemon honey tea.
