Amazing! We always enjoyed every food we eat here. This was our first time in their new location and it was better than ever. We tried 2 creamy chicken noodle-chowder and seafood-chowder/backbrot, the tuna-poke shell and the fried chicken sandwich. Everything was freshened. The portions are so generous. The Hubby said it was the best meal he ever had, and I agree! Absolutely not waiting to come back. View all feedback.
Food was very nicely presented and tasty. Some of the best falafel I've had. Hummus was fine, babaganoush was made in an unusual way compared to what I've had everywhere else but I liked it.Dining room was very clean and neat, staff super friendly, but the funeral-sounding music really made for a somber vibe.
This was my 2nd visit to Rumi and it was amazing yet again. Got a falafel pita with baba ganoush. The falafel is tender and full of flavor and the sauces were amazing. The vegetables were fresh and the pita was nice and soft. Even so it’s affordable and they made the food fast. I will definitely be returning soon ! Thanks Rumi Gyro!Food: 5/5
The staff was warm, welcoming, and efficient. I don’t think I waited more than 5 minutes from ordering until I got my food. It’s a sizable portion! And delicious. The baba ghanoush is especially yummy. I will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
I have had gyro at many places but this place definitely has the best gyro. Besides food being great, staff are also pretty generous for portion of food. They are very friendly and clean. I witnessed the patience they had with kids while I was eating and it was just awesome (I wouldn't be that patient lol).Inside is spacious, and you can spend time in front of the restaurant sipping your black tea while watching sunset. Though I live 3 hours away, I will for sure go back again.
This place is phenomenal. The owner is personable. He takes time to get to know his customers and makes the food himself. Who makes you Turkish tea just because while you wait?I’m an out of state transplant and have tried most Mediterranean restaurants in the area and they just don’t compete. So my question is…why isn’t his business booming? Knoxville pay this mom and pop establishment a visit you won’t be disappointed.
