Good food, friendly service! The evening we were there, I had the special, which was a guinea grinder....it tasted fine, but too much like a sloppy Joe for me. The onion rings on the other hand were great...very thin and crispy! And my husband had the tenderloin, which he enjoyed. We'll be back. View all feedback.
What Melissa Fuller doesn't like about Mrs. D's:
I wanted so much from this place. It smelled amazing when we got in. We were brought menus right away our server was super nice and attentive. The portions where huge, but the food was pretty bland and not as hot as one would expect. The pancakes where fluffy in the middle, but hard and crunchy on the bottoms like they had been left in a warmer too long. The chicken fried steak was pretty good, but they sure did skim... Kid-friendliness: Kid things on the minu Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking and tables
Delicious food, wide variety to choose from on menu and large portions.
Portions are great and at a good price point. Good diner experience every time we go!! Kid-friendliness: Great and interactive with the kids!
Reasonably priced and quick. Great kids menu! Awesome apps and their onion rings *chef's kiss*
To be brutally honest, the food is overpriced for what you get. The original restaurant (Mr C’s) had more affordable meal options now everything is alacart. Staff is always rude, staring and basically pressuring you to pay and leave as soon as you get your food. As for the atmosphere it is too loud, they have completely tore down all walls inside making it a very noisy and an unpleasant atmosphere. This review is based off of 3 separate visits, and it’s safe to say I will only return if others choose too and I have no say. Which is sad cause I use to eat Mr C’s 2 to 3 times a week on average before the change.. Many other, much better, options in town where I’d much rather spend my money.
