I haven't been to a chuy's in something like 25 years. I had fond memories and since moving to Tennessee wanted to try it again. First ordered a margarita on the rocks and it was perfect. Then came the food. I know this place is a chain and normally I try to find small mom and pop places to eat Mexican food but I have to say I was impressed. What Simone Harris doesn't like about Chuy's:
Had soft ground beef tacos. I asked for guacamole to be on the side as I don’t like it but my husband does. When the dish came out the guac was plopped right on top of my lettuce so I had to order a side of lettuce. Not complaining but letting others know if you don’t like something ask for it in another dish or leave it off.Both tacos where good but could have used a little more cheese. My husband, daughter and I stopped in Saturday for our first time. We were seated promptly and our waitress Ariana was the best! The food was really good and the prices were good too. We will definitely be back.
Hot food hot, cold food cold, very attentive service. Employees looked engaged in everything they were doing. My first visit to this location.
Never found a Chuy's that we didn't love and we have eaten at many. Knoxville Chuy's is our favorite
Great food, great service, fun atmosphere! Tortilla chips are awesome! Fantastic drinks.
