What MichaelG likes about Cafe 4:
Seated right away at 5:30 on Friday. Small plate scallops special with collards was divine! Large portion of salmon with veggies also wonderful. Macarons were light and airy (gluten free too) and hubby loved his rich-looking chocolate peanut butter thing! Sangria tasty but tiny glass filled with ice was disappointing. Overall great evening! What Tianna Buckridge doesn't like about Cafe 4:
This is one of the best restaurants in Knoxville, but unfortunately, our last visit didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the fish and chips, while my partner chose a meat dish. The fish was fresh, and the beer batter was tasty, but it was quite greasy. I've had the fried catfish there before, and it was always excellent, so I would recommend skipping the fish and chips. Food and service were great. Disappointed that we were sat in the overflow area lost quite a bit of the atmosphere. Something to consider is to provide something special for folks in that area since there was a piano on the stage you could have offered live background music to improve the ambience. Special night was made a little less special.

Good food at great prices. The lobster crab cake eggs Benedict was exceptional and the truffle fries were delicious too. Will be back for more !
