The Library Grill - Knollwood

We came to the library grill several times. While the experience has always been excellent, it was SUPERIOR this evening! The food was just as good as any Michelin star restaurant. The service was tops. I had the best lamb chops I had in the last 30 years. My wife had the salmon with raspberry copper glaze. We had chocolate lava cake with ice cream and salted caramel cheese cake for dessert. Maybe the best cheese cake I've ever had!

Super friendly staff, cool, quaint little restaurant with several smaller rooms so you don’t feel crammed into a giant dining hall. We made reservations for our wedding anniversary and they did a great job of helping us celebrate! The food was good, but we went on a Monday when the chef was off work. So my wife’s redfish was over cooked, and my ribeye was pretty thin, tasty but thin. Our server brought out the most filled up wine glasses I’ve ever had dining out so that was fun. The sides were delicious, polenta, asparagus, baked tater and brussel sprouts, all fantastic Anyway, we’ll be back on a different day, and I’ll update this review then. Thanks for the great time. We really enjoyed ourselves.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I am a bit upset for not eating here sooner. The service is superb. The food is likely the best in Grayson County. Worth every cent. The Steak Crostini was likely one of the best things I've EVER eaten. Just go. You won't regret it.

My wife and I had a celebration dinner here for her getting a new job. We 've eaten here a handful of times while living in Sherman. The Library Grill, along with Fulbelli 's, is one of the top two places for a 'fancier ' dinner for date night or special occasion in Sherman. The food is really great, the service is usually pretty strong, and the environment is very inviting. The steak pictured here did have to get sent back once as I ordered medium rare, but received medium well. They took the steak back and brought me another full plated entree with a properly cooked steak, so I had more than enough to take home. Bottom Line: Even an off night here is better than a good night at most all other places in Sherman.
