AWESOME BREAKFAST TOO! My husband and I go to Artz place for breakfast 3 to 4 times a month. Oh I love your French toast with raspberry compote and my husband likes to get biscuits and gravy. If you’re a veggie lover you should definitely try the Greek omelette, loaded with feta spinach and tomatoes. YUMMY FOOD View all feedback.
What Meredith C doesn't like about Art's Place:
We visited the Sway Bar, located on the rooftop of the restaurant, and simply ordered drinks. I tried the basil gimlet from the specials menu, while my husband opted for a beer. My drink was... View all feedback.
The place is legendary and rightly so. Spinach, mushroom, cheddar sausage omelet was off the chain. Wheat toast was artisanal great. Grits were obviously stone ground. You can't go wrong.
Their menu says they are known for their burgers, and they definitely did NOT disappoint on that promise! Fun, eclectic setting and great food. Definitely should add to your list of places to try while in OBX.
Breakfast was good. Not the typical recipes. Home Pommes were different, not bad. The burgers should die. We will definitely taste again the next time. The landscape was eclectic and funny. The hotel is located on the Milepost 2.5 with a great view of the dunes and the smell of the sea.
Great place to eat. Mrs had regular cheese burger w fresh cut fries, I had the mushroom and Swiss burger w onion rings. Great juicy burgers, o ion rings were big and fantastic, French fries were perfectly salted, not much salt. The way we like it. Highly recommend
We LOVED our experience at Art's Place. We went twice in our 4 day stay in Kitty Hawk. I ordered the crab cake sandwich our first time there it was delicious. Our last dinner there was great too. I had a build your own burger with sweet potato fries. Both were perfect! Wish we had made it up one morning for breakfast because I've heard rave reviews about their pancakes and breakfast sandwiches. The best part of our experience was the kind and friendly staff. The team at Art's went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They were so attentive quick even during this national staffing shortage. Don't skip out on places like Art's because they have a little bit of a wait time or are short staffed- you will MISS OUT on some great dining experiences. Thanks for some high quality meals awesome service.
