Souvlaki Flame Family Restaurant

The service, food and environment is excellent. So nice to go to a quiet homey place with booths to enjoy good conversation in. It's not a loud rushed off the rack chain restaurant - it's the real old time deal. What a breath of fresh air. GREAT COOK. EXCELLENT FOOD. My only criticism is something that I think hurts their business and that is simply the grass is not cut out front - there is no landscaping done - like every other business on the Victoria strip has well kept landscaping - grass, flowers, bushes cut outside. In Canada if the place looks neglected or shabby outside people automatically assume the restaurant inside must be the same. TOO BAD, because it's GREAT inside. So please CLEAN UP and BEAUTIFY your LAWN OUT FRONT. My suggestion is clear away the patio chairs and table if it's not used - TIDY UP and TRIM the weeks growing out of the parking lot concrete. AND SO MANY MORE PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE BEAUTY INSIDE THE RESTAURANT.

The food is excellent, good price, all homemade and even can buy their Greek salad dressing which my wife loves. would recommend it for sure

We met with some family members for Greek food. Decent selection and a great lamb souvlaki. The calamari was pretty good as well. I didn't rate it a "very good" because it's not Danforth quality, ie. the salad was soggy and just too much garlic imo.Service is really great, the place is very clean and the portions are generous. I will go back and see about giving another review. Everyone in our group liked the meal.

Fast and friendly service with great food at a reasonable price. Will definitely go back. That's all I have to say but for some reason trip advisor feels you need a 100 word minimum to express yourself.. :)

I do not understand the hype for this place at all. Ordered the souvlaki plate, and only ate the chicken. The salad was all lettuce, some onion, two chunks of tomato and (no exaggeration) ONE slice of cucumber that was stuffed on the bottom. The tzatziki had CHUNKS of garlic in it, which was awful. Potatoes were tasteless and not fully cooked. Seems like all the good reviews are for breakfast...
