Was Catherine G at Kirribilli a mag?
What a great experience! Having been COVID-19 isolated, I was a little concerned about heading out into bar/restaurant land, but The Botanist made me feel safe and card for from beginning to end. What Gaumzi dislikes about Kirribilli:
We ordered prosciutto for the starters and Gnocchi and Chicken for the mains and whilst the presentation was good, the food taste was very mediocre. Chicken was too salty and Gnocchi was lacking seasoning. Prosciutto was also not very fresh. The gin collection was quite nice though. Cool place for a drink - the menu has a lot of good options which I will defiantly return to try.
Mailing it in rude and condescending support staff.
I went here with a girlfriend for an early Sunday dinner.
Ate up at the bar. Great food and good drinks menu. Busy and noisy so don’t go for a quiet evening. Bit funky and hip place and great that the food matches up as well.
I cannot stop raving about the fantastic experience we had at The Botanist. Hands down, the best meal we've had in Sydney. The staff were lovely, helpful, friendly and personable. The food is tapas/sharing plates style. We ordered a beef slider and a chicken taco to begin with. Y.U.M. So yum, in fact, we order another slider and another taco after our main course! We had the garlicy, creamy, chutney-style potatoes as a side and the pan fried gnocchi for the main. Both were gorgeous - just beautiful! After another slider and taco and another set of delicious cocktails, dessert time! A chocolate lovers heaven - chocolate brownie, with dark chocolate crumble, chocolate moose, freeze-dried raspberries, cherry coulis and ice cream! The atmosphere is great - busy, bustling and loud - but a good loud, a sign everyone is having fun and having a good night out.Everything about our evening was absolutely perfect and ridiculously well priced for the amount of food and drinks we had.I'd definitely recommend. Make sure you head here while in Sydney!
The restaurant reviews showcased a wide range of experiences. Overall, the atmosphere was noted to be lovely and cozy, with fantastic cocktails and high-quality food. The service was excellent, with staff being attentive and accommodating. The variety of dishes catered to different dietary needs, such as gluten-free options. The food quality was consistently praised, with shared plates allowing for sampling different items. The bar selection and cocktail choices were highlighted as a key feature of the dining experience. While some found the prices to be on the higher side, the general consensus was that the food, service, and atmosphere were top-notch. Overall, the restaurant appears to be a hidden gem, offering a great culinary experience with vibrant cocktails and delicious dishes.

Vibrant cocktails and awesome food Very conveniently located at Milson Point Station Sydney. As you go out the station, left entrance, cross the street, go down the steps and it’s on the corner. Good choice of cocktails, nice bar set up. Attentive service and well run kitchen with food paced well. It’s all shared plates and for three of us we ordered two entrees with sides and two main dishes with fries. Plenty of food. Good wine choice too. This is a good place to catch up with friends and for couples. Tables are mostly high with stools and there are a few different places in the pub to sit. Bathroom very clean. Parking around streets. Great, tasty food, great service, waitress asked us if we had allergies coeliac told us that the fryer was gluten free and no contamination and that most of the meals were GF or could be on request. Great meal. Dietary restrictions: They had plenty of GF options, GF friendly, no sign of contamination and wait staff informed about contamination practices Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$100–120 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Burratta

Great little hidden treasure, awesome atmosphere! Great staff, shout out to Justin one of the bar staff that recommended some amazing food dishes and drinks!! Definitely recommend
Loved our dinner drinks at the Botanist, the baked feta and salt vinegar zucchini fries were to die for and the cocktails were the best I've had in the North Shore. Also Bella who looked after us was a lil' LEGEND. Will be going back!
Fantastic food and ambience. The waitress Matisse was amazing and looked after us like gold! Just needs more light so I can see the menu, however just the taste was great so perhaps not.
Great food, great drinks and absolute must north of the bridge! Excellent and friendly service from very good looking staff
We had such a great time at The Botanist yesterday celebrating a Hens Day. We were extremely well looked after with our waitress Bella who was super helpful, full of energy and very humorous. She made our day even better, she is wonderful at her job!!! We also had amazing food which came out hot and tasted delicious. Will definately be returning!

A lovely atmosphere and fantastic cocktails and food. The staff were lovely and attentive all night. We had the sliders which were delicious and the grilled chicken as a main, and tried both the raspberry tiramisu and the orange blossom panna cotta for dessert. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
Incredible food and cocktails, great ambience, great service. So glad these guys are back open, one of the best things Kirribilli has to offer
