One of the few authentic Mexican restaurants that has a unique taco shop, diner taco truck hybrid feel with an outside patio used seasonally in early to late afternoons. Family owned, great for carry out and a delicious bite if you wanna sit done. Show up and support with your hunger regularly!!! View all feedback.
What Nick Buchanan doesn't like about Nina’s Tacos 2 (kirkland):
They tell you that you have to order on line and the only thing they offer is photo of their sign for a menu. If you can?t read through all the glare good luck. I have eaten at there restaurant in Sycamore and thought it was ok. ???? View all feedback.

This place sucks . Salty food and owner acts like I was trying to get free food. I will never recommend this place. We need more Mexican restaurants in town
When Nina's was a food truck, it was the only place in DeKalb County that could match Chicago for great tacos. Once the restaurant moved into a brick and mortar location, the prices increased and the food didn't taste as good. At first I thought maybe they just changed cooks but after a couple of times of paying steakhouse prices for fast food quality I decided not to return. Bottom line is nice people, high prices, mediocre food.
Looked up reviews for Mexican. I always disregard the negative nancy reviews. Nina 's was highly rated. We stopped here for lunch. We were going to eat it on the road but when we walked in noticed the counters with stools so we sat down and ate in restaurant. They also had tables as well. I ordered a Steak Suizo Burrito and Jr ordered a Taco Combo. We loved it. The employees are cheerful and hard working. There are plenty of choices on the menu so we plan on going back for more.
Asada burrito. The best! Always a welcoming place to walk into. Very reasonable and quick!
