Not as food as I was expecting.. The sausage was weird. It had an uncomfortable sweetness to it. The pizza sauce was bland. None of the spices or flavors I was hoping for was in the sauce. The crust wasn 't anything to special. It wasn 't greasy or oily which I was the only plus side. All the vegetables that were in the pizza didn 't seem frozen or canned. Joey's pizza is a small town pizza shop that is in Kirkland, IL. They are not open on Mondays and only open after 3pm, so no lunch options. It is good pizza and they have a good variety of choices. They have other options besides pizza and their appetizers are good too.
Love this place, clean, pizza is always great, and staff is always friendly. Thanks!
