Love this Cafe. As a florist and also a cafe, I found the concept is extraordinary. The plants you see inside the Cafe not only look beautiful as part of the decor but you can also buy them! View all feedback.
We stumbled across this cafe by accident and it was serendipitous that such a bad event that brought us to Nepean Hospital also brought us to Mandesa Florist Cafe! <br/ <br/ This indoor cafe is a walk in terrarium of plants and flowers. The light floods in the windows and you forget your are in the middle of the suburbs, It’s like walking in to a glass house but with food! <br/ <br/ We were extremely impressed with the customer service, as we requested these dishes be made vegan friendly and the chef was more than happy to oblige. We ordered the Falafel Plate and the not so Smashed (but thinly sliced) Avo. <br/ <br/ The food was filling and just oily enough to take the acidic edge off the stomach from the night before. We love drinks menus and unfortunately they only had 3 cold pressed juice options, we tried the Red which was beetroot, apple, carrot, ginger and the Green which was apple spinach, lemon, mint. Both completely opposite to each other. Red was warming and rounded, Green was light refreshing and sharp on the pallet. <br/ <br/ If we are out that way again, hopefully not to visit the hospital Mandesa is our number one go to for great vegan/non vegan food and lovely relaxing atmosphere. Next time we want to try their amazing sweet items!

Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. I can’t even pick my favourite as I equally love them all! The dishes were fresh and delightful.<br/ They also serve organic tea including Japanese Tea.<br/ I tried the organic Genmaicha. I loved that cafe, offering a good selection of breakfast and lunch, also an amazing keto friendly menu when you can eat a low card burger like Ed burger. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Located just outside of Nepean hospital. This cafe is tempting me not to pack lunch the next time I visit the hospital for work.
This quaint cafe has a slight hipster feel complete with live plants (for sale) and rustic wooden tables. Menu is not extensive, but what they have, they do it well. Would recommend their baby octopus for something extra special though their fritters, big breakfast, chicken burger are also winners. I would give it 5 stars, but for the price range averaging $50 for 2 for breakfast, I would've expected at least table service. You have to collect two bits of paper at the counter by rummaging through the paper pile, to make sure you have the drinks and menu or you will end up with one or the other. If they're going for a slightly higher price range target, I feel they should at least attempt to meet its expectations.
