I don't typically enjoy eating out, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was at this restaurant. We tried the breakfast sandwich, cheeseburger, and fries, and were extremely impressed. We can't wait to try more dishes in the future! The staff were very friendly and even gave some treats to the customer's dog. View all feedback.

I visited this restaurant yesterday morning and ordered a breakfast sandwich and beignets. It's about an hour's drive away, so I decided to try it out. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and the beignets were also very good. I will definitely return when I am in the area again. View all feedback.
We tried the nuggets, breakfast sandwiches, cheeseburger and fries, and the beignets. All were delicious!! So happy for this spot on our visit to Hutton Brickyards!
I just ate at this newly opened, fully vegan, and fully delicious cafe and I am thrilled to have this in Kingston. Food was delicious, portions were big, prices are so reasonable, staff so friendly, and the space is charming. We had the cheeseburger and fries, mushroom nuggets, and beignets for dessert. Great drink selection too. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Also they have a free book library outside! Free parking in church lot right next door. Updated from previous review on 2021-10-09
I was super excited to try this place after seeing all 5 star reviews. I love to support all vegan companies! Unfortunately, I didn't think that eating meets the standards of others more valued. eating was quite pricy; we paid $8 for a vegan sausage, ice cream and cheese English muffin (which was told to me that they are “mostly known” for.) it was decent, but tasted like something I would have done in my own kitchen for less, and got other places for better. we also paid $8 for some “mushroom nuggets”, which were super small, soggy, mushy, and missing taste. to their credit are their smoothies and gloom really delicious! it was one of the best fertilizers I ever had, vegan or non-vegan. the atmosphere is also really cute, with many charming outside seats. the staff was also very friendly. I wouldn't return. according to my opinion, there are much better vegan places with better quality eating and much better prices. updated by previous review on 2022-07-01
So happy that this little place has appeared on my happycow! kingston needed more vegan options. owner is amazing and they can feel that the love comes through in the offered. eight menus, but a joy for the palette! tried the homemade burger and loaded pommes. burger light, but tasty and filling and charged pommes are unique! fries have mushrooms, green and beet, tasty! and of course I had to try this! You should.
We are continually impressed every time we visit The Secret Vegan Cafe. The staff is extremely friendly and always goes above and beyond, even giving small gifts to my daughter during the holidays. The burger and breakfast sandwich are both exceptional. Although the menu is limited, everything they offer is high-quality and made with care.
