Lovely little country pub with a nice and relaxed atmosphere and garden out back. Reasonable drinks prices, parking is no problem as plenty of country roads/car parks to park. Dave the owner is a really nice gentlemen Perfect place for a nice relaxing drink and or meal View all feedback.
What lee hansard doesn't like about The Windmill:
The pub has a great atmosphere and is conveniently located with friendly staff and regular customers. They offer a good variety of beers. However, the food was disappointing. We ordered a burger that came plain and very dry without any toppings or condiments. One of the few traditional pubs remains. do not expect gastro pub because it is not about it. right pub, right beer, right renter, right pub-grub.
Great pub with very friendly service, good food and beer.
Beautiful old traditional country pub. in any case my preferred pouring hole.
Fab place to relax on Friday evening with my better half and friends
Quiet, quaint old style pub. Barmaid was lively and friendly, service good and quick and enjoyed nice home cooked lunch. Great little pub!
