This is a small takeaway in the Churchill shopping centre food court. Photos show the regular Malaysian favourites like Hainan chicken rice, fried noodles etc. Teen girl wanted char kway teow - rice noodles stir fried with sticky sweet soy sauce - but that was not in the photo menu. We asked, and yes they could. Result: one very pleased teen!

Ricky's Malaysian Kitchen moved from the Central Market location out to Churchill Centre. The Chicken Rice is as good as I recall from the old shop.

Malaysian stall in Churchill Centre food court. The pictures looked so good and inviting. For a reasonable price. But what was served was completely different from the pictures advertised. Misrepresentation much? The crispy pork wasn 't even crispy, they were so small I can barely taste any skin on each piece. They were skimming even on their vegetables. Got served the stems, no leaves even. And what 's worse is the attitude of the chef. He responded with 'that 's what you get for $12.50 '. Well if I knew I was going to get this instead of what you initially advertised, I 'd happily spend my money elsewhere where 'd I 'd get something I actually ordered.

Love this place, great food and awesome people. Great family business.
