stopped for lunch yesterday, the place was very nice and clean. good selection of specificities and menu points. we began to garnish with the hard-ass, who were good, but had mixed a lot of crispy rice. then we had the pyramid bomb and the voodoo roller. both were delicious! the personal was friendly and welcoming. good music and beautiful atmosphere. the vegetarian ramen and the shrimp ramen were terrible. there was too much salt, and the ingredients tasted stale. the staff weren’t as friendly as i was hoping they would be. we asked to sit facing the street and the host was hesitant to allow us to, although the restaurant was empty. we spent $50 on two bowls of ramen that tasted worse than store bought. here is a picture below. it may look good but it was not. Billy brought us in curbside. Best move. Delicious cucumber salad and sushi roll. Super chill and amazing food. Sake bomb was a first too!!
Twilight zone but I would come back. I tried to come here once before late lunch, 3-4pm) but it was a 20 minute wait, despite there only being a handful of people in here. Same thing today…I was by myself 3pm) and willing to sit at the bar but she said there was a wait. I looked around and saw one table w/3 people) and 2 individuals sitting at the bar. I later saw those two people behind the music equipment, preparing to play their set. I told her I could only wait the 5 minutes and if it was going to be longer, let me know. 5-10 min later, I was seated but then waited another 5-10 minutes for the server who was standing behind the counter doing I don’t know what). The hostess came by and told me it would be a few more minutes for the server as she shrugged her shoulders
Nice decor and service to the table was quick. Daily specials not listed in the menu are found on the board near the entry. There's a good selection of sushi options. Much of them are not authentic Japanese if that's what you're looking for. Lots of good options for appetizers and small plates. I had a spicy tuna roll and tonkatsu ramen. The sushi roll was a bit on the small side. It was okay for the most part. I thought it could use a little more wasabi. The ramen was nice in presentation. Bit too much ginger though. The pork belly was a bit dry. The noodles seem to have an odd texture and may have been overcooked. The broth was nice. I spent about $30.00 for the meal. A good option for Japanese eats.

Sushi was good. a lot of luck to choose. our waitress did a bomb with us yesterday. in any case a nice place to eat when they are looking for sushi.
