Home cooking. The staff was fast, intelligent and polite. The food was good. It's not a fantasy home cooking.

In Kerrville today and thought we 'd try a new place. I ordered pepper cheese steak, the wife ordered chicken fried chicken, the daughter ordered chicken strips and son ordered a kids burger. Pepper steak was good but not off the charts great. It needs more peppers inside. I 'd rate it a 8/10. Portion was good sized. Chicken fried chicken the wife loved it. Claims it was the best she 's eaten. The portions were huge. Chicken strips daughter loved them, better than her favorite, Chick fil A. Sons kids burger was VERY small and he claimed it was pretty good Wait staff was very nice, wait time from seating to receiving food was quick. Very clean looking place, nice view of the Guadalupe river. Pricing was average.. Not cheap but not expensive. All in all, we really loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Home Cookin' with a View. This is a popular restaurant with locals, and those who are first-timers will find the location is quite nice. It overlooks the beautiful Guadalupe River, so try and ask for a window table. It is a nice and cheery eatery, open for lunch and dinners. You'll find lots of sandwiches, salads, soups for lunch and good assortment of steaks, chops, ribs and more for dinner. Great sides of fresh vegetables. Homemade desserts. Good prices and very good portions. Waitstaff is quite friendly. The owners care about their patrons and it shows.

Great service with beautiful smiles. Many varieties and Hill Country Specials. Eating is good. The view from the terrace is one of the best in Kerrville.

Great place to eat! Good house cooking land food, great view. The staff is very nice and fast. Big burgers and pommes! Have a variety of desserts! Never have bad food here.
