What Jackie Johns doesn't like about Don Juan:
After visiting the stunning waterfalls, we decided to stop by this restaurant. The food was good, but our experience was disappointing due to the way we were treated. When we inquired whether the main dining area was open, we were told no and directed to a small side stand. However, when new customers arrived, they were informed they could sit anywhere they chose, including the deck. It felt like a discriminatory exp... View all feedback.
Terrible customer service. a gnat in my drink, a hair in the burger, the fried beans were terrible. absolutely no relation to the personal. it was not asked in which room we wanted to sit and sat in a dark dining room instead of in the lively illuminated room. very strange experience! will never return.
Don't go here to eat unfortunately, drinks are awesome !! Great margaritas and pineapple tequila shots. Nice place it's a shame, people who work there are soo nice Food is expensive and I was still hungry
Muy deliciosos! We came for a late lunch, about 1:15, and it wasn't very busy. Wonderful atmosphere with mariachi music, colorful murals on the walls, and nice outdoor dining area. They have those little solar activated dancing characters along the railing...made me smile! They brought chips salsa to the table and a tortilla for each of us with melted cheese. That's a nice different thing to do. The salsa tasted so fresh. We got tamales enchiladas mole poblano...both came out hot very tasty. Love that the plated food goes under the broiler so the cheese on top is melted caramelized... makes those refried beans extra tasty. We had some leftovers. And just when I thought we were done, they brought a little dessert to us. A small, fried, flour tortilla rolled up filled with banana maybe something else, typed with whipped cream maple syrup. I was stuffed, but couldn't resist! We're camping in the area will have to come back for dinner try out the pineapple infused tequila. There's a large container on the bar filled with pineapples tequila! ? Great food, service experience!
Unfortunately me my girlfriend and daughter came here drinks were good- food bland salsa no flavor not spicy taste like tomato sauce i ask lady if any picante for sauce she says we don’t have ! I said you have no hot sauce ? She says no only a bottle and tasted old !Order ceviche was lettuce with vinegar and few small chop pieces of shrimp.Ordered a burrito with shrimp instead of chicken or steak was told by waitress we don’t add shrimp . I said i would pay the extra was told we don’t do that .My girlfriend asked for chimichanga with chicken and if can add cheese was told we don’t do that .Asked i she could ask she gave attitude walked to back comes back say yes yesThen no burrito come taquitos three small rolls rice on side and refried beans on side as my burritos/ girlfriend chimichanga no cheese took one bite was not edible.Told waitress wasn’t good don’t want it had attitude literally took one bite she tried to say we ate it ! I’m not one to write reviews i had to on this place were very rude and nasty food not fresh. Then husband came out arguing with us with 3 year old with us all i said was listen it was not good I’m not trying to argue he continued to argue !Never have i been to a restaurant where i was attacked like this !I have no problem paying for what i drink or eat ! That is edible!Don’t come here was worst experience I’ve had!
Solid spot! The service and hospitality was the stand out in our experience. I love the flour tortillas (that came with the fajitas) and they serve delicious chips and salsa. I?m looking forward to return so that we can try more of the menu.
