Memphis Blues BBQ House - Kelowna

We decided to try this out, sadly the smokey flavours seemed fake, ribs were dry, the staff were closeing up and not pleased we showed up as they had to stay longer I went to one of these many years ago and it wasnt that good so thought I would give it another chance, would not go again

Went here with family while on holiday. We ordered the platter of bbq meats and sides and it was more than enough for the four of us. The ribs and brisket were excellent along with cornbread and beans. The short ribs and chicken were on the dry side, but still very tasty. Our server was friendly and the food came right out of the smoker. Very similar to Kansas City barbecue - sweet with heat.

My family & I went for lunch... it was okay, but I had NO idea what I was ordering because there aren't descriptions on the menus for a lot of the items and I found that made it difficult to choose. I ordered the sausage, and it was good but SMOTHERED in BBQ sauce so that's all I could really taste. The fries were good, but a bit salty, and the coleslaw was just average. It's a bit expensive; you order at a counter and the server brings it out to you... on the plus side, she was super nice. It's not my favourite place to eat... and in Kelowna, you definitely have better choices; that being said, obviously if you are craving meat & BBQ sauce, this is likely a good spot. I wouldn't go back, but my family likes it.

I was at a local event that had Memphis Blues cater. It was excellent well organized. So we thought we would try them for our event. Went on to their website and had a response within a half hour. Told them what we were looking for agreed on a price. Picked it up on time all the guests loved it it was the best decision we had made. If you didn't know that they do catering. Then give them a try it was excellent.

We were a family of 5. Ages 2, 7, 14, 38 & 62. Our hosts were quick to welcome us - offering any open seating of our choice. Quickly we had children's colouring pages & crayons. We ordered and were provided with our beverages - kids first of course. Soon our food arrived piping hot just as we ordered. The food was presented to each of us correctly - no auctioning. We ate, enjoying each meal. At the end we were presented with a delicious treat. Caramelised cornbread with ice cream and Carmel sauce. It was all great and we took leftovers home for another meal.
