The staff was consistently attentive and friendly. The menu offered a lot of choice and everything tasted very good. Of course, delicious cake and a good espresso could not be missing for dessert. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Claudia Jacquelin doesn't like about Jakó Pastry Shop:
Terrible service, especially the attitude and treatment of the girl with long black hair with a ponytail and that of a young boy (not the bald one) the boy coughed into my cake that I ordered, my son saw it and I listened because I was sitting in the table, I went to tell them that I would take my cake and the girl and the boy told me in a very bad way and with a bad attitude that absolutely NO, that they would take... I don't recommend it because of the very bad service, the worst I've been to in Hungary.

The building, although somewhat neglected, still evokes the atmosphere of a classic patisserie from the last century. The cakes we tasted (4 types) were plastic, tasteless, and none of them contained even a trace of the flavor for which we chose them. The speed of service could not have been much slower, even though there were two servers and no one else waiting for your order besides us. If someone is looking for a pastry shop in the city, avoid this one by far, because even 50 forints for a handful of colored gelatin is a lot, not that 750.....
