Had a Friday fish lunch with some friends, and was really surprised at how tasty everything was! The bluegill was delicious, and everyone had a good time. Service was great, and I look forward to eating there again! View all feedback.
What Matt R doesn't like about The Roundabout Grill:
The wings were excellent 5 stars. However, the seasoned fries are actually chips, false advertising. Change the name on the menu and you can have that additional star. View all feedback.
I had a perch fry on Friday. It was undercooked and not good at all. The breading was soggy. The service was good and the drinks were cold.

Stopped on Saturday with 5 other people. We waited 1 1/2 hour for our food. The only reason they get 1 star is that the waitress was doing the best she could. After we left, 5 out of the 6 of us were sick with food poisoning. Ridiculous!
Can't beat their drink prices, always have great beer on tap, the wings are awesome as well as the rest of their food. Service is always so friendly! Love this place
This was our first time that we ate at The Round About grill. It was my Birthday so my wife said pick any place you want to eat. We had driven past coming back from Appleton on our way home to Manitowoc many times and saw it looked quite busy, thus, they must have good food!! So I thought it would be nice to go for a drive and try it for something special. Wait staff was very nice and friendly and checked on us a few times while we were eating. My wife ordered The Chefs Choice (Shrimp Tacos) the Wednesday Special!!! It was really really bland. The 2 tacos each had 4 shrimp in them which was a nice serving but there was no flavor at all. The taco just had shredded lettuce inside with a dash of some dressing like mayo. She had me taste it and it definitely needed some taco seasoning or old bay or even a dash of garlic salt would have helped. It was suggested to us that it came with a pasta salad but it came out with potato salad. I told my wife to say something to the waitress but she didn't want to make an issue out of it. I ordered the Mushroom Steak sandwich (med rare) with fries. The sandwich I received was a Hamburger with onion rings and BBQ sauce on top of it. That was enough, I took it up to the bartender and told her I ordered the Mushroom Steak Sandwich. When I got the correct sandwich it was done real nice (Med. Well) and the fries were very good but by this time my wife was done eating because she just picked the shrimp out of her sandwich and a couple of bites of the taco shell. The burger itself was very good and a nice bun but there was this distinct flavor of like a grill oil instead of butter on the bun. Why would you not use real butter on a sandwich. It really threw the flavor way off. I hate to complain because I know what is like serving food because I just retired from operating our restaurant for the past 40 years. Quality and consistency are the keys to success and I want these owners to do well especially in these tough times. I just hope these comments can help to make them stronger and successful in their future.
