Hasta La Pasta Italian Grill- Katy

We return to this restaurant 12 years after our last visit. It used to be a small, gourmet place with sophisticated dishes. Now it has become more mainstream and the food was not that great anymore. I guess we will drop it from our list of preferred restaurants now.

We have dined there for the last 2 consecutive weekends with large parties 1 being a birthday party and the service was outstanding!!!

We were seated on time. Took awhile to get our waiter and drinks. We ordered and appetizers and that came out on time but then we got our salads and took like 3 bites and our entree was in front of us. We didn’t have time to eat our salads and therefore our mains meal was cold and my husband had the lasagna which was very dry. All of our pastas were dry. We have been there before and the food was always good but tonight it was not. We brought family from Wisconsin in with us because they didn’t want to go to a chain restaurant. It might be awhile before we go back for sure.

I didn't like that there was no Italian soda. The chicken parmesan should have came with spaghetti not ziti. The waitress wasn't friendly but she was polite. It just wasn't a welcoming environment. I wouldn't dine there again.

Very good, enjoyable meal. We all were happy with our selections. Will be back.
