Hasta La Pasta - Katy

I have ordered many paintings from this restaurant by door bag. I made the mistake, while 4 months pregnant, spaghetti and meatballs only to find a very light and extremely long hair wrapped in my spaghetti. I immediately threw it up when I took a piece of it disgustingly and ignorantly until I felt the length. I will never order from this place again. as a side note, the bag in which it was delivered had 3 safety seals, so there was no possibility that it was the driver and it was already wrapped in the food.

Hasta la Pasta has been in Katy as long as I can remember. We went in recently though and the visit was much different, and for the better!First off, they have completely changed the inside and separated the dine in area into two separate rooms. The original atmosphere is still there on one side, and then the other side is more open, more well lit, and self service Now this might seem odd, but it's genius. You go the counter and order your food, then go get your own drinks, then when the food is ready they bring it out to you! So you don't have a waiter or waitress, you just go in and order what you want and voila a much quicker experience.As for the food, just as good or even better than before. We had a meatball pizza which was cooked perfectly; thinner crust and healthy amount of toppings. And we had the chicken picata; which was probably one of the best chicken picatas I have ever had and the portion was very generous. Most Italian restaurants will bring you a frail looking chicken, but this one was large and amazing.All in all a great visit to a local tradition and we are definitely looking forward to going back soon. Service was great. Clean. Tasted authentic. Mahi Mahi was slightly over cooked but fine truly. I’ll be back!

Just drove by and decided to give it a try. Unassuming place in a Kroger strip mall. I’ve tried the other Italian place a few doors down and it wasn’t worth trying. But Hasta La Pasta was excellent! Order up at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The Rapalla was delicious. Different with goat cheese but adds a nice twist. Very fast service and friendly staff. Will be back again!

The food here is EXCELLENT! Always fresh and the service is impeccable! I’ve eaten here many times and I’ve never, not once, had a bad experience.
