We had to wait around 10 minutes to get a seat which was fine as we got coffees while we were waiting. The Menu clearly states "it is not fast food. It is Homemade food made as fast as possible". We waited around 35 minutes for food. But it is well worth it. If your in a hurry, or in a bad mood like the lady behind us who whinged after 20 minutes, it is not for you. Relaxed atmosphere, Good coffee, Great food. My Hus... View all feedback.
We always pop in for a meal when we visit the blue mountains ! The service is great and the food is awesome. This place is the place to go to if you're looking for a great cafe !
I found it when I was walking in the morning before waiting for one of the day tours, just decided to give it a go: I had the Magic Mushrooms, which is a vegetarian dish, with pecorino, pistachio and rocket salad, it was just beautiful and in a really cozy and nice environment :)
We came across Pomegranate on the first morning of our weekend away, and enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day. Speedy, friendly service with beautifully presented and tasting food. Would definitely recommend.
Excelent food, simple and well prepared. I tried some toated bread with eggs and came perfect. So i come again for lunch, i tried a soberb prosciutto in bagel.
On arrival off the train at Katoomba it is very easy to stroll right past Pomegranate on your way to find a bus up to the Blue Mountains. We did just that. But we had only got about 15metres down the road when we decided to do a 180° turn and go back. What a good decision that was.We had some of the most delicious food yet, home cooked and beautifully presented. The pumpkin and barley soup was simply delicious, the toasted cheese sandwiches were packed with melted cheese and the bagel scrumptious.Orange juice came fresh and frothy in a hug and the chai latte was the best ever.Only very minor gripe was that they had run out of potato wedges and chips - essential when trying to fuel a teenage boy, but that couldn't be helped. The staff were friendly and smiley - overall a great lunch experience.
