I have been coming to this place for years now, and the food is always great. The seafood is always fresh and tasty. The pasta is superb. If you come to Karksruhe, you should not miss this restaurant. View all feedback.
I'm here on Easter Saturday with a friend. we were welcomed very nice by the owner and got a free glass champagne with a small amuse bouche as soon as we sit down. the tables had linen tablecloths and serviettes, but were a bit crampy on places. the restaurant seemed somewhat old-fashioned. a waiter came with a tablet of fresh fish to show us, but we had no as we were sure it would be really expensive. instead my friend spaghetti, aglio, olio e pomodoro, for which the cheapest pasta dish on the menu. I had prawn cocktail then tagliatelle with salmon. there were a few bottles of wine in a bottle, but most were and more, so we had three carafes house wine for each and a bottle of water for our bill was eating well, but not exceptional, the wine is very expensive and the tables are cramped. they can also sit outside. another evening we went to saf antipasti e vino, which was much better.
I think it is the best Italian restaurant in karlsruhe. the food was very delicious and the entire staff was amazing. their fishing options are fantastic and all the options were satisfied.
Everything was amazing, especially the ravioli with taleggio and truffle, yummy! waiter very friendly, not cheap, but worth it.
After reading from other travel adviser reviews we looked for this beautiful restaurant and were not disappointed. the food and the service were both excellent. we received a small prosecco and bruscetta at the arrival and made to feel very welcome. we found the wein pretty. expensive we bought the cheapest bottle on the list at it was very good. we felt the others were from our price class.
Coming back to the city of Karlsruhe where I studied yeas ago, I was very lucky to have dinner at Trattoria Salvatore. Food is amazing, especially the fresh fish. We had a sampler of seafood (scallops, shrimp, etc truffle pasta, and various fresh fish...(Sea bass, monkfish, turbot) very tasty. But you need to bring a full wallet ... bottom-line: satisfaction, great to be back.
