Saimin Dojo - Kapaa

This place is amazing! You have authentic Hawaiian food and they are the most friendly people you will ever meet! I have the chili pepper fried chicken and fried noodle comb. It was so good! I would highly recommend this place!

Thanks for finding this place. It was so bad that we came back on the island twice in our 5 days. We have something new every day and it was all spectacular. If you want to taste delicious Hawaiian food, this is the place to go. The plates were big enough that we could buy two and feed 4 people. The encouraging notes on the walls were a good way to waste time while waiting for our food. So funny to read all notes!

Huge menu of plates lunch options. Really enjoyed everything we have. Portions were pretty big. Pork luke was super delicate and tasteful. Service was great and we have our food fast. You also have a few Musubi options to try.

Visit the previous restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives because of Saimin Dojo. Tested the Hawaii plate and the Chili Pepper Chicken. Loved the chicken rice on the Hawaiian plate. Not too busy when we visited. Interior seat and drive window.

Wailua Drive-In wins for my favorite food experience while in Kauai! I loved the Chili Pepper Chicken, Poke Nacho’s, and the various Musubi. I need the Mac salad recipe, best I had while here. Thanks for comforting food with incredible flavor!
