Wonderful food. The flavors were so authentic! We had the Veggie Chiff Suey, Veggie fried rice. Chicken schzewan chicken. Service was very good. There are many old Chinese who enjoy their lunch when we went there that looked like regular. The food was light, not greasy and tasty.
Super fast and friendly service! The prices are very reasonable and their minute chicken chow mein is my favorite thing on the menu! I usually pass on chow mein preferring to eat other selections, but I would definitely get this dish again! My family ate all of the duck and they also liked the salt and pepper pork chops. Their fried won ton is also so yummy--crispy and flavorful. Parking can be tough, so you might want to just look for street parking. If you have a big car, it might be difficult, but with a small car, you should be able to legally squeeze behind another car that is trying to hog the street parking. If not, be patient...and you will be rewarded with a parking space!
Number 1 on my Favorite Chinese Restaurant list by far!!! Definitely a pleasure to eat their food. My favorite meal is surrounded around the Cake Noodle and their infamous Chinese Chicken Salad . Although their takeout only for now, the dine-in part was very clean and comfortable.
There is a reason why this place was nominated the best Chinese restaurant for their food. Absolutely tasty make you back for more. Very delicious food!
I was in Hawaii for 30 days and I must have ate here nearly twice a week. I really wish I discovered this place earlier. I am from the Bay area, so I live near Oakland and SF Chinatown. The food here at Kin Wah is far superior than anything I can get back at home. I know it sounds crazy, but Chinese food hasn't been the same for the last 10 years plus here in the Bay area. The Chow Fun at Kin Wah reminds me of my childhood. Hands down the best Chinese food I've had in a while. Top picks: Beef Chow Fun with black bean sauce Dry style, Won ton with Chili Green Onion and Ginger sauce and Peking duck with buns. Prices are very reasonable (especially when you compare to Bay area prices). The Owners and workers are all very nice. I wanted to give a shout out to Lisa and Jay, thank you for creating a great dining experience for me. I will be back next year.
