Millie provided excellent service, taking great care to accommodate my dietary needs and ensure our overall dining experience was enjoyable, especially since it was our first time at the restaurant. The tofu stir fry, which can be made vegan, was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. View all feedback.
What Kirk Crist doesn't like about Adela’s Country Eatery:
next time I'm on oahu, I'll drive over the island to return here. we received the suggestion to eat here from a family to midday that we met while we migrated a great way over the road from the Byodo-In temple. so glad we tried. all the nudes are made in the house. who would have thought that a small load like this could serve to smoked brisket on the place with the best bbq everywhere and the aromen in the nudes was... Wow, all about this place was five stars! we went to lunch and got the noodles with pork, which was absolutely skurril. The most beautiful lady was the millie. she explained everything so patient and was so sweet. then we decided to come back to dinner and get the seafood special. the fish, muddles, cloves were five stars restaurant. millie exemplified the true Aloha spirit and gave us free cold water, cheesecake and fried noodles to take home and called us her obama. best service and friendly service on the island, I would come back only for this food!
Had avocado pasta with lechon and garlic sauce. it was very delicious as I heard. fresh pasta with unique ingredients and a lot of crispy pork and it was tasteful and the part was great. but is it worth this price? super expensive! cheesecake also looked great. I wish they suck the cut red swirls in water a bit to remove the spiciness. it bothers. a thing that I really don't like at this place is that they don't take them.
All the different dishes we got here were delicious and was the highlight of the food we ate during our time on oahu! the lechon and short ribs must be finished with a piece of ilikoi cheesecake! all employees are so incredibly nice and take care of them. millie is the best! must try this restaurant, it is worth it!
Homemade pasta from kalo (taro), avocado, ulu (breadfruit), malunggay (moringa), sweet potato ube (purble/okinawan), angle hair. they can choose from popular combinations or create their own. I had ube pasta, local stir fried style, with garlic garnel. I can't remember what everyone else had, but everyone loved it, the best we had on our trip. it seems like a lot of money, but the portions are very large, a few people had enough for a second meal. service amazing service. we didn't know what we wanted, but the team was very helpful and patient with us, as we turned out, even what they thought was the best. All work very friendly and friendly. ambiance counter serve restaurant, but they can see the back where the crew works hard to prepare the fresh ingredients. on the front you can also see how they roll and cut the different pastas. That was nice to see.
The best food I’ve had on Oahu! The staff is super friendly, clean and helpful. It is takeout only. The ube pasta with fried pork belly is phenomenal. The macadamia crusted fish plate is mouthwatering. And you can’t go wrong with any of their macadamia crusted cheesecake. Will be returning here on a regular basis.
