Fresh strawberry milkshake was really good. We also had some shepherds pie for lunch. Plan on staying for at least 30 minutes during weekends, as it takes 10-20 minutes to park, place order, and get your food. I'm not complaining, as it was a well needed leg stretch, and we were back on the road before we knew it. View all feedback.
What Laís Lourenço doesn't like about Horstings Farm Market:
Staff not wearing masks or disposable gloves when serving food and no visible sign of sanitizing areas. Bottle of sanitizer ? left outside on tables for WHO to use, the customer? Staff not interested in offering service. I basically felt ignored, rushed and faced with...indifference, which was highly offensive to me. I wanted a refund prior to food prepared but clerk behind counter didn't know how to process a refund... View all feedback.

We stopped for lunch and were delighted to find homemade bread sandwiches custom made and delicious soups and pies! A gem!
Once again well worth the stop in for lunch on our long day drive from Vancouver to Prince George.
Fresh baking, produce and soups; preserves, flowering baskets, real berry milkshakes... we love this place and take every opportunity to stop by. Great place for a quick lunch enroute and don't forget to pick up a couple of frozen pies (literally dozens of kinds) for supper!
At first glance this seems to be a healthy environment. The fields of veggies and fruit that bracket the driveway, the selection of veggies on the sandwich menu, the home made breads....It is a healthy and delicious stopover. But....while the wife is browsing the produce section, if you're quick about it, you can latch onto some of the best sweet buns or decadent tarts. They will even put them in a nondescript little (or big if necessary) bag. I had to share mine when they were discovered down the road a ways.
