However, don't expect light and delicate dishes, which seems somewhat surprising given the restaurant's location and ambiance. You can find similar fare at the pub next door, but the setting in the restaurant is much more appealing. The interior is bright and airy, dominated by a bar, and offers a lovely view.

The restaurant looks great, it has a glammed up beach shack kind of feel. You order at the bar and the staff were friendly. The food was ok, in general the friends at my table said their meal was good but no one was raving. I had the mushroom linguine which lacked flavour. We tried the goats cheese which was good. Warning about Sundays: We had a booking for dinner at 7pm on Sunday. So we were chatting and at 7.35pm a staff member approached us and nervously asked if we were planning on eating. Apparently the kitchen closes at 7.30pm on Sundays and no one thought to let us know. Then they turn the restaurant into an extra dance floor. So as we were eating the flood of people from the other side of the hotel filled up our area. By 8pm there were led flashing lights and a loud dj. I understand this is what they do. But would have been nice to get a warning. We probably would have gone elsewhere.

The management and the personal were the only saving gnade for this experience. the food took an hour and half to get out. I felt extremely regrettable for the amazing waitresses, who apologise nothing but for the culinary behaviour and the unprofessionality in releasing our food. hopefully, the place will soon get new owners, as this is the third time that we have been and still shocking since the takeover of the current owners (although now at least it is table service).
Started out well, nice view of a car park and ocean, nice clean modern decor, FANTASTIC SERVICE, great entree 's with goats cheese....finely cut fried squid, but all this joy was short lived when i ordered a $39, burnt drink coaster sized steak! WTF? Ordered another one, was better...slightly...zero flavour from what must have been 150 grams of low quality rump, as it sure wasn 't a premium cut of beef. DONT order the $15 cocktails, as they tasted of E85 ethanol! Wont be returning here soon. PS: Why is there approx. 100 pieces of blackened old cheawing gum covering the the steps to the entrance??? EEWWWWWWW!
We struggled to rate this one (I always discuss the rating with my fellow diners! $275 for 3 of us, 4 'shares ' to start, 3 mains and 3 desserts. And while the shares and mains were tasty, they were over priced for what they were. $14 for two very small (albeit tasty fish tacos, $38 for a piece of steak, one mushroom and some potatoes is a bit much. It lacked the oompf of a good steak. Desserts were a HUGE let down! $6 per scoop of ice cream from a tub and $15 for a piece of cake from a wholesaler (as waiter told us after the fact . At those prices make it in house or drop the prices.
