We stopped in for takeaway since we were staying nearby. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered an appetiser and main to share, along with garlic naan. The naan was seriously the best I've ever tasted. I could have skipped the biryani and just eated the saag paneer and naan! Worth a stop. View all feedback.

I thought I'll write a review as I've been coming here fortnightly with work colleagues (for a number of years). I know the world doesn't revolve around us but the lunch buffet has been the same for a long as we can remember. Same dishes can become boring, but we come back because the waitress is lovely and overall the buffet is okay but can you please mix it up a bit and make butter chicken??? Would also like to enc... Everything was great. our group had a banquet. everything was fresh, plentiful, delicious (not oily or salty) service was great and friendly. the ambiente was beautiful.
Excellent restaurant eating well nad authentic always a good note when they are the only non-South Asian customer
Now, indian bay is the new restaurant that replaces tandoor 3 months back, but not yet on the trip advisor card. note that this review is for Indian bay and not tandooor. my family went in the hope that with the explosion of Indian restaurants. open in the city, this new belconnen location would make us a closer home yet fantastic experience. they didn't disappoint. the place was renovated and looks brighter and more cheerful than its predecessor. there was a single waiter in the service, but he was completely competent, friendly and polite. there were 2 tables that were occupied when we arrived, but within the next half an hour the rest of the tables were taken, and I noticed that they were very busy with also calling out. the only waiter treated all tables, took orders and served drinks. our eating did not take too long and we were blown away from the bay chicken. so delicious and sharp. my young loved it. the rest of our courts followed after escape. they were different in taste and siciness. I had after an extra sharp and it was absolutely finger lick delicious. her naan was amazingly direct from the many, we could see the naan chef standing near the many, naan was so soft and different than any other restaurant. indian bay is the new authentic Indian place to go when they love hot food! I am not able to upload my photos within my review. tripadvisor app seems to have a problem. but will be uploaded on the web
I was very impressed by my culinary experience in the indian bay, formerly tandoor restaurant, when I dined in belconnen on Monday evening. the cosy mosaics were a delicious introduction to the offer of this restaurant. they have recently changed the hands, but there is no compromise. quality nilgiri gosht, goat meat, which was cooked with acidified mint and cashew, was exceptional. Although it was a quiet night with few people, they could cook me a complete dinner. I can recommend them indian bay.
Amazing eating and taste, very tasty. the service is also very good and the people who run it are friendly.
