The atmosphere was great! Cool historical building with lots of character. Food was delicious, especially the beer battered fries. Large beer selection and friendly staff. Very walkable from the downtown hotels. View all feedback.
What Jens Ernst Müller doesn't like about Kalamazoo Beer Exchange:
In recent years, this was the best place to be in Kalamazoo. But if you are not a local in 2024, this is really not the best place to go right now until they bring service back to track.Service: Male bartender not friendly to foreig guest, tends to focus on female guests first to start conversations. Not nice.Atmosphere: Nice building, guests are ok.Food/Drinks: Good selection of beers. View all feedback.
Stopped with 3 buddies before a show at the State Theater. We enjoyed the stock market beer pricing and a good meal. Our server, Alyssa, was on top of things and we easily made it to the concert in time.
Great experience. We always go here when in town. Great beer, food, service. Cheers! Vegetarian options: Lasagna, excellent!
Great experience at the Beer Exchange. Our server Max was awesome! He was professional and attentive.Definitely check this place out for the beer, service, and vibes.
Very cool building- nice that they have pool tables and a bar downstairs and the restaurant upstairs. The famous bowl is excellent. I’m not a beer drinker, but my husband enjoyed the stock market game with the beer pricing and the wide variety of beers offered. He liked trying new ones when the price went down. The beer battered fried pickles are a must!
Met some out of town friends for dinner. Beer exchange is a great novelty idea, fun to watch prices change. The food was great. After dinner the basement has pinball and pool tables.
