Caffe Casa has been a place our family has enjoyed and been patrons of for over 30 years. We consider the owners family as well as the many staff people who have worked there throughout the years as well as the most recent staff now. Great coffee, delicious chocolate croissants and much, much more. View all feedback.
What Robbie Smith doesn't like about Caffe Casa:
the place: nice aura, ok food, everything is expensive, only good tasty are the brownies, need to pay them extra for food to be heated up? throwing a bagel is more than 75 cent or so. nice for a coffee, but not much more. oh yes and if they are vegan and not cool with honey, they do not eat their vegan-labeled products. the owner: I heard (I know) she takes the half of the tips of her employees, much to chat and does... Large local and family-run coffee shop! I work in downtown Kalamazoo Mall Strip and this is my way every morning! If you are looking for local support and good coffee... This is your place! (So the owner is so friendly)
My favorite place for coffee in town. The owner and staff are wonderful. It's nice to sit inside or out. Coffee is topnotch. Be sure to try the lavender syrup or the tasty treats.
Easily my new favorite cafe in downtown Kalamazoo!! Walking into Caffe Casa is like walking into a warm hug, you instantly feel at home. I had a delicious lavender lemon chiller and a veggie croissant for lunch yesterday and I'm already dreaming about coming back for more. I was so impressed by their hospitality, wide variety of options, and fun atmosphere. And SPECIAL shout-out to my pal, Erin, for being such a lovely barista! As someone in full Pride gear yesterday, it was SO great to step into this shop and know that I was safe and supported after walking past others that did not offer that same feeling. See you again soon Caffe Casa!!
First visit during the pandemic so takeout only for now, but our lunches became an instant favorite! I had the veggie croissant sandwich while my boyfriend had the turkey croissant, and we immediately vowed to make Caffe Casa a weekly event. We also each got the first slices from a beautiful cake- the frosting tasted a bit too buttery but otherwise delicious. Can't wait to return for another meal, and also to be on the other side of quarantine so that we can enjoy the comfort of eating inside this cute space for an afternoon.
The best coffee shop in Kalamazoo! The staff is very friendly. The plants and greenery make the space feel relaxed and welcoming. And their chai tea is so good! Even if I no longer lived in Kalamazoo I would come to town to stop here.
