Hard to find, but worth the effort. Local dishes and good steak. Limited beer selection but very good table wines. Friendly service, beautiful beer garden off the main walking area.

We recently had dinner in the garden/courtyard area of this nice little restaurant in Kaiserslautern. Very friendly service and excellent salads and schnitzel.

We found this restaurant purely by accident as it was hidden away down the alley. We were looking for a traditional bar to have a drink and as we approached the courtyard we were blown away by the wonderful setting (outdoor candlelit tables and Ivy covered walls)We then decided to eat in the restaurant which is upstairs and could not have been more please by the welcome and hospitality that we received.The food was out of this world and the beer was swerved in traditional stone mugs.

Wonderful local flavors in a German restaurant that brings you back in time. Don't look for Wifi here, just sit back and eat in an old-style German restaurant atmosphere. Service is not speedy but who cares. Highly recommended
