This restaurant is a small hidden gem with a non-descript sushi sign. You can find it by following the Scandinavian shaved ice sign and walking past the gift shop. Making a reservation is recommended, but there may still be a wait due to their small staff. It's best to arrive early as they can run out of fish. The sushi was fresh and delicious, although the rolls were a bit rough in appearance but still tasty. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi Cocoro &udon Noodle -tuna-ichi:
there was simply too much rice and not enough fresh fish, sweet or taste to lift out each of the 5 sushi’s we tried. they were completely inevitable from each other. View all feedback.

Update: we had to come back here one last time before leaving the Big Island. Thank you for embodying the Aloha spirit and satisfying our appetites.
At first glance, this place may seem like a hidden gem, but once you step inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the incredibly fresh and well-prepared food. It's a real treat and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the area's trend of overpricing. Our only regret was that we were too full to try more dishes.
Sushi is excellent. the unagi sasimi was super! service is good and accommodating. Eat is delicious!
