Everything about Vintage Year is absolutely stunning! The decor is classy and not over done, the service is attentive, professional and very knowledgeable and the food is perfectly divine! We started with the Yellowfin Tuna which just melts in your mouth then shared the Passion Fruit Salad which was the daily special salad. It was definitely special, those passion pearls were fun and delicious! Our entrees were just... View all feedback.
What Haley doesn't like about Vintage Year:
The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant has a modern look and they were playing Christmas music around the holidays. We specifically picked this place due to all of the great reviews and an awesome looking menu, but were unfortunately very disappointed. The service was super slow, it was almost an hour before we got any food and the drinks took over 30 minutes. Then once the food did arrive the green beans were cold,... View all feedback.
Cute spot, kind staff, but don’t order the Artisan Salad with chicken. Might’ve been the smallest, driest piece of chicken I’ve had. And for the price, the salad was disappointing with very few beets and almonds on top.
Always incredible food. Appetizer prices are a little unmanageable for such tiny servings. Wouldn't call the Spanish octopus an appetizer... More like a 2 bite hors d'oeuvre. Otherwise, everything was amazing.
Seems like a nice place. Pretty plain decor, but classy. Wagyu burger was amazing, and server was excellent. Don’t like that drink menu doesn’t have prices…..I was in the mood for a good Old Fashioned with Maker’s Mark, and friend got an Old Fashioned with some other Bourbon. Mine was $20 with tip, his was 30 bucks! Ok, that’s fine, keep the riff-raft out, but what bothered me is that they came with watered down little ice cubes. Literally couldn’t taste the drink. Bartender said you have to “ask” for a big cube….really??? When you are charging $20-$30 bucks for a drink, shouldn’t have to ask for what is standard practice at Central or other fine establishments.
One of the most expensive dining options in Montgomery, I have put off the trying Vintage Year for a while because I was worried it might not live up to the hype or be worth the money. On a spontaneous date night we went full send with a four course meal and cocktails. Everything was spectacular and the service was top notch. We didn't need a reservation on a Wednesday night. The salad and the filet were both amazing. I hate how much I enjoyed it because I will be back soon, everything was great. Isaac was our server and he's great at his job.
This place is really good, but I’m a pescatarian and this restaurant advertises on a big seafood selection and that’s not true. Locally caught grouper and red snapper is not a big deal. What I enjoyed was good off the appetizer menu, but the fish choices was 2nd class.
