The walk in standing around the closed front door was a sign of good site.It sharpened open at 7 pm with a smiling woman greeting the guests, most of them straight to the bar, no reservations we hadMy son ordered a pizza and I had the spaghetti pomodoro with meat balls.The pizza was amazing wooden fire , the pasta was “al dente” and the meat balls were very good.The pomodoro sauce was weak for an Italian spot. Great Italian spot my wife got a wood fired pizza and loved it, and I got the gnocchi. Very good one tip, they recommend making reservations so do so before you go!
Shawn was our server and he was fantastic! We ordered an Antipasto Platter which is nuts, vegetables, cheeses, cured meats, garlic bread listed on the menu. It wasn't what we expected as it included mostly pickled veggies and only 1 cured meat and 1 cheese. The strawberries, nuts and meat were our favorite. The sourdough bread also left much to be desired. However, the canolli and bread pudding were good.
The pasta is made, not bought; and it’s amazing! It seems a bit basic to order, but trust me… the spaghetti and meatballs are awesome. The alfredo dish is also worth a look. You aren’t going to have a bad meal at Bocca.
Thunderdome was delicious and the Alfredo was definitely some of the best I’ve ever had! Great ambiance too! Would be perfect for a date night
