Texas Roadhouse Joplin

Food was great, and Carter our server was awesome, he was thorough and accommodating considering our multiple food allergies. He wad great!

This has got to be the worst excuse for a steak I've ever seen! First of all why when you order a ribeye steak we got something that resembled a pork steak with white inside and tasted like pork. When we were asked if it was ok we said yes because the people were polite and we wanted to just get out of there. They busted out in a line dance that was only young teenage girls, and my husband and I were kind of wondering why. It seemed kinda sexist in todays age....so loud in there you can't enjoy a nice dinner. The green beans are terrible and mashed potatoes I can't even....you know when all the food is all bad we will never come back. We are locals so if this is what they are serving up they should take some examples from some of the other real steak houses we have here. A total waste of time and money.

Driving home from vacation we stopped to spend the night in Joplin, MO. We went to eat at Texas Roadhouse. The food was good as it is in every other one. We did seem to have to wait on our waitress to come back and check on us which seemed to be an excessive long time. The waitstaff did line dancing for the customers periodically for entertainment besides the tv's that are on the wall. Everything is always good at a TR. Call, stop and eat.

We started with the Legend Margarita and Busch Light. The margarita was entirely too sweet I couldn't finish the first one because it was giving me a stomach ache. After that I switched to Maker's Manhattans. We both ordered steak with mushrooms and I added shrimp to mine. We both enjoyed dinner and would be back.

Our family of five was passing through on a busy Saturday evening around 7pm (June 4, 2022). We did the online reservation system and everything was spot-on. When we arrived we were greeted from the time we opened the door and all throughout the restaurant by several team members and the manager on the way to our table. Our server, Chad, knocked it out of the park! He is a phenomenal server. Friendly, responsive and personal (he seemed like a good friend there to help us with our experience).We were blown away by how many servers stopped by our table to check on us (including the manager, again). It wasn’t “too much”; it was actually very impressive.The reason that I am writing this review is to let management know they have a well-oiled machine (which is difficult to do these days). The crew that works there is amazing, as was the manager. Our food came out as expected (hot, steaks cooked to temp).Great job Texas Roadhouse! When it comes to restaurant chains, this is a model-restaurant.Sincerely,A grateful family on a long cross-country road trip!
