The Rodeo Mexican Grill - Jonesboro

Nice to have Mexican food on this side of town. Basic fare for the most part but with several unique and interesting offerings (fajita omelet). I opted to try one of their combination dinners offered at lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. Food wasn 't 'out of this world ' but wasn 't bad either.

The Rodeo was a surprisingly great experience! The server was attentive, the food was hot and tasty!

Eggs!. Nothing about the menu screams radical departure from your standard-issue Mexican restaurants in Jonesboro, until you notice the fajita omelet! It was served with ready-made refried beans and rice, and stayed piping hot for several minutes after being brought to the table. The service was good and friendly, and it was predictably cheap. If they had a margarita machine, I'd go more often.

I can say that this is the first place in a very long time that neither my husband nor I had to add anything to the salsa and you could see the ingredients in the salsa. That was the first good sign. I had the enchiladas and was thrilled with them. My husband had something that started with a D...anyways he actually ate the whole thing. We left stuffed and happy people. The service was great as was the food. Since we travel a lot, this is a place we will certainly return to.

Pretty good! Food was tasty. Guac and cheese dip was really good and typical of a Mexican food restaurant. Service was solid. Not really much to write negative about, so I'll give it 5 stars. My only very small complaint is how crowded it can get in that little area, especially if you have kids.
