Booked for 3 pax on weekend hi-tea buffet. The food served was tasty, variety colorful. There's a room for improvement on some dishes. Busy eating forgot to take a good picture. I will come again try another spread. Good job makan kitchen team!

My Family and i stayed at the Double Tree and we truly enjoyed our stay. Special Special Credit and Thank you to Tilek and all the service staff of Makan Kitchen from the front liners to the kitchen staff for their wonderful smile and excellent service. Its true what they say leader lead by example. The food is delicious , the ambiance is superb but the service tops it all.. Look forward coming again.

This place serves THE BEST tasting international buffet in Johor Bahru! The staff are polite and very attentive, food freshly made, taste wise so flavourful the Malay section is superbly authentic tasting with my favourite Assam Pedas Oxtail and best hotel’s Satay Beef. At the Chinese section without fail, I will go for their double boiled soup if the day, clear broth packed with a burst of flavour of being simmered over slow fire several hours. And for the Indian section, don’t forget to taste their dhal and naan. Hands down this is the place to come for a celebration!

Always like the Makan Kitchen buffet. It has a wide spread of food ranging from Asian and Western cuisine. The desserts are nice. The ambience is nice and staff are prompt and friendly.
