What Vaibhav Gupta doesn't like about White Star:
Extremely disappointing and bland food! We had the Wild mushroom flatbread which was just bad stale, limp arugla, a weird sweet cheese and bland, cheap truffle oil. We also had the Hamilton burger which was again, bland please season the meat guys! The bun was stale around the edges. I'd requested no onions on both dishes and they still came with onions! The beer was nice but, everything else is disappointing. View all feedback.
I felt rushed during my dining experience. The food was brought out too quickly and too close together.
The interior of the restaurant was too noisy, making it difficult to hear conversations at my table.
I had a great time at this cozy spot in Jersey City. The drink selection was excellent and I enjoyed the half chicken dish with flavorful vegetables. The service was friendly and overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.
