Bang Cookies - Jersey City

The people here were really accommodating and gave us cookies even when they were closing. Sadly the cookies were just that. They were overly sweet and had that artificial flavor which is just no good. The place where it’s located is also not great and you might have to deal with a few drunk people on your way.

Definitely not worth the price. Crumbl is WAY better. These were thick, dry, and had a really weird/off taste to them. If you’re looking for a fresh, soft, or warm cookie this isn’t it.

We visited this location twice during our JC visit and tried the following: double chocolate chip s’mores sea salt caramel peanut butter chipThe double chocolate chip and s’mores were EXCELLENT. In fact, I would dare say the s’mores cookie would’ve been the best I’ve ever had if it were warmed.The sea salt caramel and peanut butter cookies were meh not bad, but not amazing.The concept of Bang Cookies is also interesting in that the cookies are not warmed prior to purchase. They are sealed in plastic bags and handed out at room temperature.I’m not the biggest fan of cold cookies and these would have been much better if they were warmed. At the minimum, give the customer the option to request a warmed cookie.The cookies are also hefty and a decent size, which makes them worth the seemingly steep price of $5/cookie.Overall, if you’re looking for a quick cookie fix in JC, I still recommend Bang Cookies. You’ll just have to warm them in the microwave for now.

Great cookies! Top tier for sure, got the snickerdoodle and the smores and both were amazing. Employees(maybe owner? were super nice and friendly.Only things I would say that could be improved, add some seating indoors and make sure to not make your cookie too hot. We got ours heated and while delicious, I wish I would have asked for mildly heated since I ended up wanting to eat it right away but had to wait for it to cool a bit.

Being near NYC and having everything at your fingertips there are unlimited options when it comes to cookies, and we are obsessed with Bang Cookies! We purchase every time we see a store (including at Terminal A in Newark Airport no matter the time of day) and even ordered a massive order for takeaway treats for our wedding guests this past year. HIGHLY recommend ordering for yourself (or for an event) they are seriously the best.
