We love their Bend location and decided to try the PDX shop. They have a very cautious setup involving barriers and 6 ft+ distancing from the cashier, which is great, except they also have very loud music and they can’t hear you. Our entire order was wrong, and we only found out after waiting for 30 minutes…at which point they invited us to wait in line (again), order the rest of our food (again), and wait for said f... PHENOMENAL baked goods. No exaggeration- the best croissant I have experienced, to date. Atmosphere-wise, the emphasis seems to be more on making good food and drinks than making a cozy space to hang out. Which is pretty valid in the current post-COVID climate. Basically, if they added a couple of cozy chairs and coffee table inside, I would consider living there.
Great pastries and really pretty quick considering all the COVID precautions. I like this addition to the neighborhood.
