We had wanted to try Matt’s for quite awhile and finally made the wise decision to head there today. The Brisket and the Queso Mac n cheese were good but the ribs were outstanding! A little torn today. I am a huge fan of Matt's BBQ and Matt's BBQ Tacos. But it has been a couple years since I have been to the Matt's BBQ cart because of the location. Found myself in the area today so had to stop for a brisket sandwich. They only offer that in chopped brisket now but ordered one. While the meat had an amazing flavor, I left feeling like I ate a pickle sandwich with some brisket added in. Love their pickles but.... Way too many. Matt has raised the level of BBQ in Portland but I left disappointed. It won't stop me from returning but not for a sandwich next time. Not a huge fan of their kiosk to place my own order either.
